Hey all…
I'm getting a lot of questions as everyone gets back to it in this new year, so I thought I'd pop back in here, say hello and let everyone know that books/rewards are still scheduled to ship in March as originally promised.
Just remember that Kickstarter is a preorder engine, so everything is still being manufactured and whatnot. It’s all looking REALLY good though and you’re going to be very happy with what you end up with.
LOOKING AHEAD
There will be two more issues of the Official Evel Knievel Series coming this year. Issue 2 in June and Issue 3 in November. We'll also be releasing a deluxe collected edition of our hit astral projection thriller, THE JUMP, the finale of THE PEACEKEEPERS, and books from my WRITERS BLOCK co-host David Avallone and our Executive Editor R.E. Nelson...
...but something that has us over-the-moon excited is this:
For the uninitiated, BANAJX is a wicked series - from Rylend Grant and the rest of team that brought you EVEL KNIEVEL - that took comic shops by storm a few years back.
BANJAX made over a dozen major ten-best lists and was nominated for FOUR Mike Weiringo Comic Book Industry Awards - including BEST SERIES alongside books like Bitter Root and Something's Killing the Children - and the critics raved:

SURVEYS ARE COMING! One last MEGA-RARE Cover!

Hey Evel Fans,
THE BIG DAY IS HERE! Your Backerkit surveys are coming. Some of you will receive them tonight as part of our initial "smoke test" to make sure everything is working properly. Most will receive them tomorrow morning.
The surveys will allow us to gather the info we need from you to eventually deliver all of your goodies. This is how we'll get your mailing addresses. And this is when/how you'll be able to pick the specific variants, pins, and posters you'd like shipped to you.
You'll also be able to add extra EVEL issues and swag if you are so inclined. You can still get art, draw-ins, and photos with Evel. You can still opt-in to have all of your items signed (if you haven't done so yet).
BUT... one of the reasons it took a little longer than usual to send the surveys is because we were drumming up something TRULY EPIC for you. Here's a look at it:
THE EVEL KNIEVEL #1 SNAKE RIVER CANYON TICKET VARIANT
We got together with Krystal Knievel - Evel's wife - and put together the rarest/most collectable Evel comic yet! It's an EDITION OF JUST 25. It is a HOLOGRAPHIC FOIL Evel Knievel #1 Snake River Photo cover with an ACTUAL/ORIGINAL Snake River Canyon Jump CCTV Ticket from 1974 (provided by Krystal/from Evel's personal archives) embedded inside.
These will come signed by me (on the inside cover) if you'd like them to.
They're $100 each. They will first be available exclusively to you/backers of this campaign... We'll open sales to the public after that and then they will be gone. SO GET THEM WHILE YOU CAN!

Hey all,
We're still locked up in the bunker prepping wonderful Evel Knievel things for you, but I wanted to check in quickly. In the most wonderful way, this campaign attracted A LOT of folks whom are new to the Kickstarter experience and I've been getting some process questions from them. So, I figured it was time to re-clarify a few things...
1. KICKSTARTER IS A PREORDER PLATFORM
All of the items we're selling are unique to this experience/were designed specifically for this campaign. These weren't just sitting in a warehouse somewhere. They are being printed/minted/produced as we speak and - as stated on the campaign page/during your check out - rewards will be delivered to you on or before March 2026.
Now, we tried to be as conservative with that written estimate as possible... and chances are you'll have your items well before that... but in any case, they'll be delivered a few months down the line... that's what was originally promised... that's what was written on our campaign page from day 1. That's how 99% of Kickstarter campaigns go.
2. THE ITEMS WILL BE INCREDIBLE
We've been doing this for a long time. We've fulfilled dozens of great campaigns. We produce a really great product and you're going to absolutely love it. It will absolutely be worth the wait.
We're MASSIVE Evel Knievel fans. So, this one is EXTREMELY important to us.
3. I AM ALWAYS HERE TO PERSONALLY ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS/SOLVE ANY PROBLEMS YOU MIGHT HAVE
We're here to make this a wonderful experience. I am always just a DM away. If you have any questions, if you have a problem with your order, if you just want to talk about the Snake River Canyon jump, please message me.

Hey all,
I just wanted to thank you very sincerely for all the love this past month. There is such an active and enthusiastic fanbase here on Kickstarter... you guys have made this a uniquely great time... I've said it before and I'll say it again here... this is so much more fun than is putting books in comic shops.
I'm going to take a short respite for the weekend, but I'll be back early next week with more news... and I'll start contacting folks then for commission and draw-me-in references. The backerkit surveys will be headed your way in about two weeks. I'll try to have some fun stuff available for you all there.
The first round of payment processing went through this evening and we do have some errored transactions, so check your email - you may have missive from me (or kickstarter) - and make sure your payment info is current on the platform.

Hey all,
This is coming a few days later than I wanted it to and I apologize for that, but this campaign has turned out to be a bear (in the best way) and so we're having a little trouble juggling everything. Be confident though that we are working hard here to give you the best experience possible. Great stuff coming!
STRETCH GOALS
We are now steamrolling toward that third stretch goal. It won't surprise me if we cross the $18,000 threshold tomorrow. Here's a look at the wonderful bonus items you'll all receive:
STRETCH GOAL #1 - $7,000 - CAESARS PALACE EVENT TICKET
The moment we funded/hit $7,000, that meant everyone got this incredible Caesars Palace Jump Event ticket lovingly built/restored by our Executive editor/event poster artist R.E. Nelson!
STRETCH GOAL #2 - $12,000 - CAESARS PALACE POSTCARD (Circa 1967) (FINAL REVEAL TO COME)
Once we crossed the $12,000 mark, every backer got something from the 1967 Caesars Palace gift shop...

Artist Jon Pinto has re-imagined EVEL KNIEVEL as a '70s/'80s Saturday morning cartoon series. It's uber limited. It's printed on archival paper and is suitable for framing. And it's YOURS the moment we hit $18,000.

Macabre Valley #1 is a 30-page horror comic by writer Zack Quaintance (Death of Comics Bookcase), artist Anna Readman(2000AD, Peachfuzz), colorist Brad Simpson (Local Man, Coffin Bound), Eisner-nominated letterer Becca Carey (Absolute Wonder Woman, Exquisite Corpses), and designer Jared K. Fletcher (Paper Girls).
